I’ll be talking about the ideas, trends, and icons that inspire me, and want to hear what inspires you! Expect lots of my personal tips for organizing and throwing a party or event, planning a wedding, doing-it-yourself projects, putting together a delicious menu, and developing a unique personal style—all with an eco-friendly mentality and green ideas in mind.
In short, welcome. Feel free to tell me about yourself and your interests in the comments section below.
I hope this blog will soon become your favorite place to hang out online and a go-to source of inspiration for your next event, be it a wedding, dinner party, or a child’s first birthday—a place where we can all get inspired and help each other create extraordinary experiences.

Do you need ideas from the Fabulous Three from Austin?
Always.

Hey,
This is a wonderful blog and I look forward to learning some new things
There is one thing I have to point out: you have a typo in your navigation bar “Syle” when I believe you mean “Style.” I would have preferred to send that privately, but I didn’t see a “contact me” page.
Happy Holidays!
Oops! I’m a newbie to the blogosphere, so I hope you’ll all forgive my typo : ) Thanks so much for spotting that, Nicolle. Happy Holidays indeed!

Sounds like you’ve had an exciting life! How did you get into being an event producer? Is this something you still actively do?
Cheers!
Just found your blog…LOVE it! I took some cookies to a potluck yesterday, in a glass jar, with a cute tag. My brother: “I’m assuming Caryl brought the cookies…” Why, yes! It’s all about the presentation, and I’m really, really liking your ideas! Thank you so much for sharing them!!!
Haha, I love it! Post a pic of your cookies in a jar! And I agree, it IS all about the presentation. Thanks for following my blog – I really appreciate the support! -Brian
I organize “mini” events for our Board of Trustees, parties for family, and get-togethers for church. I plan to use several ideas from your blog! You can see a photo of my cookie jar here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carol-with-a-y/7689246450/
Hello,
I work for Environmental Science Degree.com, a website that strives to be a valuable resource for anyone who is interested in pursuing an environmental science or related degree. Additionally, we offer information for professionals and others interested in learning more about being environmentally conscious. To that end, through our own research, evaluating factors such as peer recommendations, web presence, and content quality, we’re developing a list of the Top 100 Green Living Sites.
We are pleased to inform you that we have nominated Extraordinary Experiences for inclusion on our list!
Should you be featured on the final list, we’ll provide you with a badge to display on your website and to promote your inclusion on your social media accounts.
Once the list is published, we’ll be reaching out to other environmental bloggers and websites to ensure maximum recognition for your site.
Additionally, if you wish to nominate another environmental blog or website that you feel is worthy of a spot on our list, please let us know. We’re still in the review and nomination stage. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best,
Erin
Hi Brian,
Loved the “green event tips” – I am an eco friendly florist based in Beverly hills and use only organic, veriflora and locally sourced flowers and plants. We marry great design with eco friendly practices. So it makes me so happy to hear leaders in the industry such as yourself talk about how easy it is to be eco friendly while planning an event. Well done!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I plan to post a lot more in the future : ) Im nearing the end of my busy wedding season – so more on the way soon!
